PHP Québec, the profesional association of PHP users in Québec, will be part of the GTEC exhibition (http://www.gtecweek.com/), in Ottawa, Ontario, on Tuesday October 19th and Wednesday October 20th. PHP Québec will present PHP's features (http://www.php.net/) and its support services in Québec.

As a free alternative to .NET and J2EE, PHP is the leading platform for web applications in Canada: 40% of Canada's web sites rely on it, and every level of government trusts it.

"There are many government portals that rely on PHP to serve Canadian citizens," says Damien Séguy, a co-founder of the association.
